Improbable Escapes in Kingston has announced a seasonal game open during the month of October at Fort Henry! The 45 minute game is called the Jury of Nightmares.
Exodus London Escape rooms is also opening a seasonal Halloween game from Oct. 14th to 31st. I have yet to play any games in London, but this one has piqued my interest. The theme is called Stranger Danger. I’ll keep my theories to myself, in case I’m right!
How well do you REALLY know someone? What are they thinking? Why is that person staring at me? Are they moving towards me? Dark Alleys. Creepy Vans. Elevators. Do you know who you’re with? We’re taking our escape games to the next level- will you avoid your kidnapping or die on the altar?
Escape in London has two announcements. They are closing down the Apocalypse room to open a room called Pandemic. The second announcement is that they are opening a room called Cabin in the Woods.
You are a scientist at the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) experiencing a real world disease pandemic. You have been hiding in a safe, underground shelter for the past few months, working on an antidote for the disease that has taken over the world, but you haven’t been able to make any serious progress and you are running dangerously low on food, water and oxygen. In exactly one hour, a facility wide full decontamination must occur in order to keep the viruses and diseases from spreading out. In other words… this place is going to blow, with you inside… unless you can find a solution, immediately!
On your way up to a friend’s cottage in isolated Northern Ontario, you find yourself with a flate tire, miles away from the nearest service station. Your group slits up into two, to try to find help. One of your group comes across a seemingly-friendly stranger who invites you to his cabin in the woods… but you soon learn that he’s not interested in helping you out… and you must get away from him, fast!
Captive is opening a new facility in Mississauga come September 11th. It’s rumoured to be somewhere near Hurontario and Eglington Ave W., but time will tell.
Fant Escapes is tentatively opening in Guelph in the fall.
Escape The House is opening a facility in Mississauga mid September..
EscapeZone has made no announcement at all about anything, but I was informed that the entry for the Biohazard room has been replaced with a COMING SOON picture.
The other reviewers from Escape Room Addicts, Escape Games Review, and Escape Games Toronto have banded together to form Canadian Capers. On September 19th, they will be hosting ‘Night at the Speakeasy’ – “A One-Day-Only Theatrical Live Escape Experience”. You can find out more information HERE

Notes: $56 for admission for three ($18.67/person). The normal pre-tax price is $25/person, making the discount ~25%. Like the groupon for Volume 1, they list $84as the regular price for 3 which would be true after tax, but the information on the side suggests that tax is not included.
Name: Real Escape Game Volume 1: Escape From the Mysterious Room
Notes: $56 for admission for three ($18.67/person). The normal pre-tax price is $25/person, making the discount ~25%. The groupon site lists $84 as the regular price for 3 (rather than $75), so they might be calculating it with tax, which would put the discount ~33%.
