De Code Adventures announced Heroes Unleashed. It is a 100 minute facility wide escape game, where teams of 5 will have different roles and will have to defeat a dragon. They also released a promo video, but it showed puzzles from their existing escape rooms. I would assume that this Heroes Unleashed is something novel.
De Code Adventures also has another new room coming up, De Code the Art Legacy.

Escape Manor in Ottawa announced that their newest room will be Apocalypse themed. The game will be an hour long (as opposed to their usual 45 minutes), and will be 1800 square feet.
Improbable Escapes in Kingston announced that their newest room, The Office, will be open September 4th.

Adventure Rooms (Kitchener) has announced their fourth room/theme, The Vault. It’s available for booking now, but becomes available on August 17th.
EscapeZone has made no announcement at all about anything, but I was informed that the entry for the Biohazard room has been replaced with a COMING SOON picture.
The other reviewers from Escape Room Addicts, Escape Games Review, and Escape Games Toronto have banded together to form Canadian Capers. On September 19th, they will be hosting ‘Night at the Speakeasy’ – “A One-Day-Only Theatrical Live Escape Experience”. You can find out more information HERE
