Roundabout opened last weekend, with a promotion that if you escaped from a room the game would be free. They were also giving out VIP cards and Roundabout branded t-shirts.
I’ve added their entry to the master list, which I’ll paste here for convenience. They’re located near Yonge and Elm, with their entrance next to the Marble Slab Creamery.

Escape from the 6 in Oakville is now officially open as of today, and you can now book on their site.

Escape Key is re-opening! They previously had a zoning issue and needed to build another washroom. For the weekend of May 8th to 10th, there will be free gifts for every player and a grand prize for the team with the best score by May 10th. I haven’t been to Escape Key yet, but I assume score is referring to escape time.

Escape Maze opened up their third room (or 6th, if you count the decomissioned ones), the One Room Schoolhouse!

Escape Games finished their ‘contest’ and the Syndicate: Relic Heist facebook page has reached 250+ likes. This is dropping my chances of getting in, but the schedule for the premiere time slots is listed HERE!

The Hour opened up their third room, Mutiny at The Hour! However, their facebook feed mentioned that the room is out of commission already (overenthusiastic players?)

Escape Room Niagara Falls posted a video trailer for their upcoming puzzle hunt HERE.

    1. I’ll write a review eventually. If you’re itching to go, like I wrote in my previous comment, I’d suggest the Butcher’s basement and the Prisoner over the other rooms.

  1. So we did Back to the Mummy at Roundabout first and found it to be a great experience. The puzzles are very different from anything I’ve seen at the other places I’ve visited so far and the set design was really well thought out. We actually spent a good half hour talking to the owners after and it was interesting to hear their thought process. Ken, the owner, said he’s been trying to avoid playing too many room escapes so he doesn’t get caught up in the usual tricks of the trade. He’s a tech type of guy and seems very into finding new ways to do things. I liked that about the venue and him. I’d recommend it based on that room and the customer service, for sure. Friends of mine are doing the Butcher’s Basement tonight and I’ll be doing Final Destination on Saturday morning so we’ll see if they all hold up as well. Plus the VIP card is a great idea to get people to come back – one free visit for one person and 10% for every visit thereafter, it’s good for a month and transferable.

    1. I’m glad you had fun!

I hate that attitude about playing other room escapes. It’s the same pitfall that many other owners make. It’s how you end up thinking you are very clever by using lasers and not aware that there are 15 facilities doing the exact same trick. The only people that lose out are the customers!
