Adding Captive Rooms to the master list. It opened on Friday the 13th, and was apparently free over the long weekend. They have two rooms open currently: Dracula’s Library and Charlotte. They are 60 minute games with a cost of $27 (with a $5 discount for checking in on Facebook). They are located in downtown Toronto, at 43 Elm Street, Unit #200.
Live Escape has opened their fourth room, Study of Secrets.
The Hour in St. Catharines have announced that they are permanently reducing their price from $25/person to $20/person (before tax)
Escape Room Niagara Falls has announced that ‘The Bunker’ and ‘The Castle’ has no additional times, as they will be undergoing renovations for the next 2 weeks (approximately until the end of February).
Xspace has announced that they are replacing their ‘Forest Escape’ with a new theme.
Lost Canada has announced a soft opening date of the week of February 23rd. TPlaytime is 45 minutes, and the price appears to be $28/person.
iEscaped has closed down their ‘Superhero’ room and replaced it with a bomb defusal theme. The ‘Defuse’ room opened last Friday and some of the other reviewers visited! I’ll link to their review whenever it comes out.
Origin Room Break has announced that they are closing the Wonder Child room on February 21st. It’s to be replaced by a Detective Conan themed room, where there will be a dual objective of escaping the room and solving the crime committed. Each ‘case’ runs for 200 groups, with prizes given to the 1st, 100th, and 200th groups (if they complete both objectives).
Omescape is running a contest where a group of players are given the opportunity to play the final two rooms, ‘The Penitentiary’, and the ‘Mysterious Study, before they are released to the public. Link HERE
